CONGRATULATIONS JESSICA!

Hi! My name is Jessica Quesada, and I am 17 years old. I have been a part of 4-H for the past nine years and have been heavily involved in Community Club. This summer, I was selected to attend Harvard's Secondary School Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts from June 22nd- August 9th. This is a seven week program where I am currently taking eight college credits. I was also selected to receive a $10,600 scholarship from Harvard. My acceptance into this program was based off of my grades, work ethic and involvement in my community. I am going into my sixth week at Harvard, I have formed friendships with some of the most kind hearted people. This experience has made me so incredibly independent and confident in myself. Through this experience, I have learned how valuable my time in 4-H has been because it has opened my mind up to new opportunities and has helped me grow so much as a person. I am very excited to be going into my senior year knowing anything is possible, you just have to work for it. :)

2015 Denver National Round-Up Delegates

Montana Flores and Bridget Hodges both qualified as delegates for the 2015 Denver National Round-up competition to be held in Denver, Colorado in January 2015.  Both delegates have been members of the Spirit of Queen Creek 4-H Community Club and Horse project for many years and both have had numerous successes with all the Excellence In Equine Educational events over the past few years.  We are very proud and excited for you both not only to represent the Spirit of Queen Creek, but Maricopa County and the State of Arizona.

Montana will be competing with four other delegates from Maricopa County in the Hippology contest and Bridget Hodges will be competing in the individual Horse Speech contest.

Good Luck and create many, many memories!
