Beef Project

This project is active from fall to late spring. Youth will learn how to raise and show steers. In the beginning of the year, they will complete a budget, and keep accurate financial records throughout the year. They will also maintain a log of their project activities, including leadership, community service and career exploration opportunities.

Submission of a record book or portfolio will be required (due in June of each year). If a member does not submit a record book or portfolio, they will be unable to compete at the county and state fairs.
